An active performer and teacher since 2004, Carl Lindquist holds a Bachelor of Music degree from Boston University and a Master of Music degree from Rice University.  He currently serves as the Assistant Principal Trumpet of the U.S. Navy Band in Washington, D.C.  Previously he has been a member of the U.S. Naval Academy Band and the Army Field Band.  He has also performed with the Colorado Symphony and the Annapolis Symphony Orchestra.

 

A frequent recitalist and clinician, he has presented masterclasses at many colleges and universities including the Eastman School of Music, the University of North Texas, the University of Michigan, Duquesne University, and the University of Kansas.  

 

Fortunate to have so many inspiring music teachers, including his parents, Carl looks forward to working with the talented students of the Annapolis Symphony Academy.
